Why had you gone mad? It's sports.
Intramurals. It had always been the talk-of-the-campus even before it started or even if it had happened. I don't know, not everyone are to sporty but whenever these topic would be opened, hodgepodge of stories sprung like fungi over a damp mass of earth.
To start about, I'm the type of person who'll willingly exchange her time combing her hair and doing girly or senseless stuffs in playing ANY sport but I'm quite particular over volleyball, badminton and table tennis.
Sportsmanship. Many of us forgot the real essence of having an intramural as schools likely because everyone wants to bag the trophies and medals and bring home the beacon. It's not that bad actually but think about it, is that what sports trying to say? I guess not. Even Ali stand up to these saying "I never thought of losing, but now that it' s happened, the only thing is to do it right. That's my obligation to all the people who believe in me. We all have to take defeats in life."
You see, it's not always about winning because if you lose, your opponent wins and the same will happen to him at some phase in time. Losing however, is some king of a blessing in disguise for us because if we would win all the time, we might not learn the lesson of being defeated and that is a very important thing everyone might realize. It is, by that defeat, you'll fathom how important practice is or maybe training, there are a lot of things to learn by getting defeated and through that you'll collect yourself up again, stronger than before. And if you'd have the positive outlook in life, you'll have the grandest trait every athlete should have and that is sportsmanship.
Sportsmanship is way too easier to describe than actually do. Just as a source say, sportsmanship can be conceptualized as an enduring and relatively stable characteristic or disposition such that individuals differ in the way they are generally expected to behave in sport situations. In general, sportsmanship refers to virtues such as fairness, self-control, courage, and persistence, and has been associated with interpersonal concepts of treating others and being treated fairly, maintaining self-control if dealing with others, and respect for both authority and opponents.
I think keeping up with the score is invented for people to be entertained with sports and playing, etc. Losing sportsmanship isn't worth the win. I'll leave the rest to you and decipher what the rest you're thinking about mean.
